The customer needed an accurate and detailed CAD model to design a cover to fit over this service cart. The detail requirements went beyond our LIDAR scanner’s capabilities to capture, so we employed the use of a handheld Artec Leo scanner. The Leo is able to scan without any cords attached, making it extremely versatile for situations like this. 

Reality Capture Solution

The Artec Leo scan data was brought into 3D CAD modeling software to create a usable, high quality CAD model that the customer could rely on to design an accurate cover.
