A backpack-worn scanner called a NavVis is perfect for scanning school buildings. It allows us to cover large areas in a day while minimizing disruption to school operations. The scanner has an on-board camera for capturing digital twin images, plus twin lidar lasers that continuously scan while moving.
We deliver a Revit model using a pre-approved template so that you get the type of model you expect. The model level of detail can be optimized for facility management, and can contain room numbers and generate square footage automatically.
Certain facility management software such as Archibus can import these models automatically to input the room name and square footage.
