Arrival 3D scanned a bronze bust for a customer in Fullerton, CA in Orange County. The bust was scanned using a 3d laser scanner. The scan data was further processed to smooth and fill all holes, and create a planar surface at the base of the neck, trimming away the platform attached to the bust. In preparation for 3D printing, the bust was then shelled with a .25″ wall thickness to save model material during printing.
