Luxury Hypercar 3D Scanning
Aston Martin has always been an institution when it comes to luxury automobiles. Their Valkyrie hypercar, developed in partnership with Red Bull, is the ultimate personification of hypercar design, engineering and performance. While driving a car such as this, tight fitting, comfortable seats are a necessity for optimal handling. Aston Martin is taking this level of luxury to a whole new level by incorporating 3D scanned custom fitted driving seats for the Valkyrie. By scanning the customers individual body, they will create a custom racing seat to ensure the highest quality and best performance.
3D Scanning: Levels of Perfection
The Valkyrie comes with a 6.5 liter V12 Cosworth engine; (50 year old company specializing in high performance capabilities in mechanical and electrical engineering and manufacturing tech); as well as a hybrid system from Rimac (started in 2009, aimed to build hybrid supercar technologies) with a 1:1 power to weight ratio, rivaling only that of the 1,341 horsepower Koenigsegg One.
With all that power and performance, comes a responsibility for Aston Martin to give the absolute best way for potential drivers to handle that power. By scanning each individual customer for custom seats, they add another layer of safety and comfort like none other. Rumored to be in the ballpark around 3 million, A.M. plans to build a grand total of 175 models of the Valkyrie with deliveries set for 2019.
