Description - - Arrival 3D performed high-precision 3D laser scanning and drone surveying of a 30,000-square-foot section of Seattle’s historic Gas Works Park to digitally preserve its iconic industrial structures. Using the Leica RTC360 for ground-based scanning and drone photogrammetry for aerial coverage, our team captured comprehensive point cloud data and generated a detailed Revit-ready 3D model. This dual approach ensured full visibility of elevated structures, rooftops, and hard-to-reach areas. Despite the site’s complexity and active public use, non-intrusive tripod scanning and drone flights were conducted safely without disrupting visitors.
The final deliverables included a colorized Autodesk ReCap point cloud, aerial imagery, a 3D BIM model, and optional walkthrough visuals—empowering architects, planners, and city officials with accurate, actionable digital assets for restoration, design, and long-term preservation.
