Description - Arrival 3D performed high-precision 3D laser scanning of a 7,000 sq. ft. lodge at a remote fishing resort in Alaska. The goal was to capture detailed spatial data for architectural, structural, and MEP features across the facility. Despite the challenging and isolated location, our team utilized advanced tripod-based laser scanning technology to ensure complete and accurate coverage.The collected data was used to generate a comprehensive point cloud and a 3D model suitable for site mapping, renovation planning, and facility upgrades. Our Scan to BIM services enabled the client to visualize the lodge in its true conditions, supporting space optimization, future design work, and remote project coordination—all without the need for repeated site visits.
