Description - Arrival 3D was commissioned to conduct a floor flatness study for a commercial facility.  The study will ensure that the building meets industry standards and construction tolerances. They required a millimetre precise scan to detect any surface irregularities to analyze the safety issues, and equipment installation.  
Our team used the Leica RTC360 scanner for precise and detailed as-built documentation of the floor surface, to create an accurate digital elevation model (DEM). This DEM was then used to detect variations in the floor surface. This was then converted into a color-coded deviation plan, indicating which areas needed to be adjusted. This helped engineers and contractors to make informed decisions regarding floor refinishing and corrective actions.
