Description - Arrival 3D was tasked with creating a detailed Scan to BIM model for facility management of an industrial facility. The industrial facility's machinery, structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing) services are scanned in detail to acquire high-density point cloud data, and is converted to BIM model with Autodesk Revit.
Our certified surveyors used the Leica RTC360 scanner and drone to acquire precise point cloud data of the industrial facility’s interior and exterior. This data was then converted into a detailed as-built BIM model, resulting in a digital twin that engineers and facilities managers can use for industrial facility management and expansion of the industrial building.
