Wind turbine inspection is a tedious and dangerous process due to the extreme height and complexity of the turbine's design. At a wind farm in Tehachapi, when one of the wind turbines failed, our client contacted Arrival 3D for wind turbine inspection. With aerial laser scanning with a drone, we were able to make a structural analysis report of the turbine, which allowed the engineers to spot the failure and fix it.
